What sports are offered in the Fall?
We offer football, volleyball, and boys soccer in the Fall sports season.

What is the loan policy for library books at Edison?
Students may have a maximum of 3 books checked out at a time. They can keep the books for two week and renew them if they are not finished with them at the end of the two weeks. They cannot check out books if they have any overdue books until they are returned.

Will my child be fined for overdue books?
No fines are charged for overdue books. However, the student will not be allowed to check out until the overdue material is returned.

What is the fine for a damaged or lost book?
If the book is damaged, but not beyond repair, a damage fee less than the cost of the book will be determined according to the severity of the damage. If the book is lost, the student will be charged the current replacement cost of the book. However, if the book is found and returned in good condition, the replacement cost will be reimbursed to the parents by means of a check.

What is the loan period for library books?
There is a one-week loan period for all books checked out of Lincoln Library.

How many library books may my child take out?
Kindergarten and first graders may check out one library book each week. Second and third graders may check out two library books each week.

Will my child be fined for overdue books?
No; however, overdue notices are sent to your child's homeroom periodically. If an overdue book shows on your child's record with the library, the child will not be able to check out any additional books from the library until the overdue book is returned or a lost book fine is paid.

What is the fine for a lost or damaged library book?
Fines are calculated using the current replacement cost of the book. If the lost book is found and the replacement book has not been ordered, the fine will be returned.
5.
What should we do if we accidentally return a Lincoln book to another library?
Lincoln is part of the Alliance Library System, as are most libraries in the area. If our book is turned in at these other libraries, it will be returned to Lincoln. While the book is missing, your child will not be able to check out additional books from the library.

How may I view my child's grades and information online?
If you do not have a Family Access Permission form on file with our district, you will need to go to your child's school office to sign one. Once this is on file in the office you will be given login information that will allow you to access vital information such as grades (grades 4-12), food service information and much more.

What is an eBoard?
An eBoard is similar to a webpage. It contains classroom information. Examples of information that could be included: homework assignments, educational websites, field trips, and other information pertaining to your child's classroom. To see individual eBoards go to the top of the District webpage, under the tab “Parents/Students” and click on eBoard Directory.

What is the district's policy on prescription medications at school?
Prescription medications can be distributed at school when necessary. In order for our staff to administer medications a School Medication Authorization Form must be on file before medications can be given to students. This document must be completed by parent/guardian and a physician and kept on file in the nurses' office.

What is the proper procedure for visiting a school during regular school hours?
On occasions when it is necessary to visit during school hours, all visitors are required to report to the school office. You must sign a visitors' log, may be asked to show identification, and wear a visitor's badge while on the campus. When leaving the school, visitors must return to the office, sign out, and return their badge.

How do I enroll a student new to the district?
All new students to the district must visit the Administrative Service Center located at 323 W. Washington St. to provide us with Proof of Residency.

Will you accept mail-in registration?
Once you have established residency, you may return the registration packet in person to the office of the building where your child will attend. If you are unable to return the packet to the office personally, please feel free to mail the packet.
3.
What are acceptable proofs of residency?

How do I get Special Education Services for my child?
First, talk to your child's teacher. Express your concerns and get the teachers opinion on your child's learning needs. Request in writing to have your child assessed. The results of the assessment will determine if your child is eligible for services.

What is the first step in troubleshooting all computer issues?
Please restart your computer first. Check all connections. If you are still having trouble please enter a helpdesk ticket for assistance. The helpdesk can only be accessed while on campus.

I am unable to print?
Please double check you have a printer installed. One common reason for being unable to print is your computer has been reimaged and you need to reinstall your printers. To reinstall a printer please see following link.
