About the Library
The library is a learning resource center for the fourth, fifth, and sixth grade students at Edison, as well as the faculty.
The library is a computerized library using Follett's Destiny Software to catalog and circulate the approximately 20,000 books in our collection. The library contains a computer lab of 20 networked computers with internet access, which is used for teaching information retrieval skills, research, classroom technology projects, and for taking accelerated reader tests.
Students are encouraged to come to the library to browse for books, practice their research skills, and use computers.
Remote Learning Book Check-Out's
Remote learning students will still be able to check-out library books provided they do not have any past-due books. We will be following a 2-week rotation. Books from a previous check-out can be returned at the same time as new pick-ups.
A library staff member will be waiting outside during the scheduled pick-up window, please pull up to the front entrance and we will bring the books to your vehicle.
A link to the Book Request Form can be found in your class's Library Team. Please have the form submitted by 11 AM on pickup day. Use Destiny Card Catalog to search for available books.
